Au natural and clothing optional resorts in the Caribbean
There are a variety of au naturel and clothing-optional resort offerings in the Caribbean. Jamaica & Cancun/Playa Del Carmen feature a number of au natural or clothing optional all-inclusive resorts. Couples Negril, Grand Lido Negril, Grand Lido Braco, Sunset Beach Montego Bay, Hedonism II, Hedonism III, Couples Sans Souci Resort and Spa, Desire Resort Riviera Maya, Desire Los Cabos and Couples Ocho Rios all offer this type of vacation experience in Jamaica. Each resort caters to a different clientele. Hidden Beach Resort from Karisma is a totally au natural resort located along the Mayan Riviera.
Grand Lido Braco is home to an exclusive au natural section that is separated from the clothing side. A nude pool, jacuzzi and swim-up bar are the center piece for the au naturel section. Clothing may not be worn in these areas. Each room in this area is considered a junior suite or suite and is almost always sold out. The resort appeals to a more upscale traveler and provides clean fun in an au natural environment. Clothing must be worn in the main section of the resort and definitely for dining. Grand Lido Negril features a Beach cove, clothing-optional section that is separated from the main beach and resort. Grand Lido Negril caters to the upscale traveler and the price reveals this fact. The experience is one of refined fun.
Couples Negril utilizes a portion of their beach for a clothing optional area. This section is small and does not offer much seclusion for those interested in a more private experience. Couples Negril recently added an au natural beach bar and nude hot tub to enhance the nude experience. Couples Ocho Rios is home to a private off-shore Nude island that is just a short boat ride from the main resort. The island amenities include a swim-up pool bar, restrooms, hammocks and beach loungers. This is a very unique experience and offers great privacy from the main resort area.
Hedonism II and Hedonism III provide the ultimate in wicked fun with each of their totally au natural sections. These resorts are for the uninhibited traveler and displays of more than just affection are a daily occurrence. The resorts cater to a cross section of ages that are looking for a lifestyles experience. Theme weeks are scheduled throughout the year and peak months are October and January.
The clothing optional area at Sans Souci Resort and Spa is located on a separate beach from the main resort beach providing adequate seclusion. Sans Souci clientele are typically more high-end and those looking for a relaxing spa vacation.
Sunset Beach in Montego Bay has three beaches, of which one beach is clothing-optional. This resort is moderately priced and caters to the middle class. Families are welcome at the other two clothing beaches.
Hidden Beach Resort is located on the Mayan Riviera just below Cancun, Mexico and is a completely au-naturel facility. This is a small intimate resort that features a fully all-inclusive plan. The resort is for those guests that have nothing to hide.
Desire Resort is also on the Mayan Riviera and is designed to accommodate travelers interested in a Lifestyles experience. This resort is known for no holds barred,uninhibited fun. Desire is on the level of the Hedonism Resorts in Jamaica and attempts to take things a little further. Desire Los Cabos is the newest resort in the Desire chain of all inclusives and is open in the Cabo San Lucas area.
Blue Bay Getaway Spa featues spicy adult games and a topless optional pool. This resort is not considered au natural and men are unable to disrobe at this resort. Additionally, ladies are required to wear bottoms at all times. The theme is spicy fun but this resort is not on the level of a Hedonism or Desire resort.
