JetBlue Adds Flights to Turks and Caicos
Monday, 25 October 2010 10:48Starting on February 17, 2011, JetBlue will add a flight to Providenciales (PLS) in the Turks and Caicos Islands from John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK) in New York, NY. Bookings can now be made, with rates as low as $119 per ticket. In addition to daily flights from JFK, weekly Saturday service during the winter will be offered from Boston Logan International (BOS) Airport in Boston, MA, on February 19, 2011.

Two New Countries are Born
Friday, 15 October 2010 10:43On Sunday, October, 10, 2010, the islands of Curacao and St. Maarten (Saint Martin) were designated as constituent countries within the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The term constituent country is a political term referring to a country that belongs to a larger entity. Previously both islands were considered island territories within the Netherlands Antilles, which has now been dissolved. The kingdom will still oversee finances and the defense policy of the nations of the Netherland Antilles, which was also known as the Dutch Antilles.
