‘Beautiful by Nature’

Bordered by miles of brilliant-colored reefs and clear turquoise waters, the Turks and Caicos is a fascinating string of islands just 575 miles southeast of Miami. This impressive archipelago is made up of white-sand beaches, lush woodlands, vast wildlife and the largest cave system in the Caribbean. More than 1,000 square miles of elaborate reefs have made it a haven for scuba divers around the world. And the extensive line of resorts, restaurants, facilities and attractions make it ideal for every Caribbean agenda. Amazingly, of the 40 islands comprising the Turks and Caicos, just 8 are inhabited, preserving a secluded chain of pristine islands and aptly capturing the slogan, ‘Beautiful by Nature.’

Providenciales and Grand Turk

Located on opposite ends of the island chain, Providenciales and Grand Turk are the centers for tourism, culture and adventure in Turks and Caicos. Silver white sands cradle some of the Caribbean’s finest resorts and emerald waves host an endless array of ocean excursions. Relish in the flavor of freshly caught conch or head to the local sites for a day of discovery. Turks and Caicos’ long-standing history is seen through elegant colonial architecture, abandoned plantations and bustling ports. The eclectic blend of Dominicans, French, Canadians, Germans, Haitians and Americans color these islands with International heritage.

Everything In-Between

The islands between Providenciales and Grand Turk are as mysterious as they are beautiful, and offer some of the most exotic geographical features in the Caribbean. Miles of white-sandy beach lead to striking Limestone cliffs, dense swamplands, tidal flats and blossoming tropical flora. The vibrant ecology invites birdwatchers, scuba divers, fishermen and every nature lover into a world rarely touched by humankind. Loyalist plantations and abandoned colonial structures sprinkle across the islands, gracing the region with a timeless charm.

Unparalleled Adventure

Uncover the secrets of history and nature in the ruins, caves and tropics of Turks and Caicos. Walk the ruins of Wades Green Plantation for an elaborate specimen of loyalist history. Hike the wondrous trails on Middle Caicos and experience the island fauna. Or dive into a marine world teeming with humpback whales, manta rays, sea turtles and bottlenose dolphins. This amazing coral reef is 200 miles long and 65 miles wide, and has undoubtedly been the reason for the Turks and Caicos’ inclusion into the “Top Fifteen Most Popular Dive Destinations Worldwide” by Rodales’ Scuba Diving Magazine.

Weddings and Romance

The soft beaches and extravagant scenery of Turks and Caicos make it ideal for destination weddings, honeymoons and spontaneous escapes. Arrange an elaborate beachfront ceremony at a major resort or find a secluded highland to exchange vows. There are several resorts with wedding and honeymoon packages for every size event, and 40 picturesque islands provide a surreal backdrop to your nuptial celebration.

A Breathtaking Collage

Turks and Caicos is a breathtaking collage of white beaches, lush tropics, coral dive sights and thrilling attractions. Families and languid travelers find the best of both worlds on the islands of Providenciales and Grand Turk. And those seeking adventure use these islands simply as a launch for exploring the remaining 38 within the archipelago. This vibrant blend of modern convenience and genuine discovery make Turks and Caicos the destination of choice for seasoned Caribbean travelers.
