The main airport in Costa Rica is the Juan Santamaria International Airport in Alajuela, which is twenty minutes away from San Jose. Airport code (SJO) Most all inclusive resorts are located in Guanacaste/Liberia and this airport is not recommended for guests traveling to the Liberia area. Guests traveling to Guanacaste/Liberia fly into the Daniel Oduber Quiros International airport. Airport code (LIR) This area is home to the majority of all inclusive resorts in Costa Rica.
