A five-mile (eight-kilometer) path for bikers, runners, walkers, and roller skaters begins at the Marina Ixtapa Golf Course and follows a path up the coast to Playa Linda. Or travel the other direction for 2.4 miles (3.8 kilometers), beginning at the Palma Real Golf Course, to Zihuatenejo, and finally end up at the Instituto Tecnológico de la Costa Grande. It’s a great way to see wildlife and birds and get in touch with nature.
Water Sports
With an abundance of underwater marine life and a variety of underwater caverns, canyons, valleys, and coral, scuba diving and snorkeling can be a thrilling experience off the coast of Ixtapa. Divers can check out the NAUI and PADI dive shops in Ixtapa and Zihuatenejo for customized dive trips.
