We have been to Jamaica nunerious times (Mo Bay, Negril, Ocho Rios) and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves...and we expected no less from Gran Bahia. Our first impression of the hotel was "...this place is beautiful...", simply put. Grounds are beautiful, and the rooms are spacious. Our room was close to the lobby, the elevator and the luggage storage area, and somewhat noisey when we first arrived. We tried to get it changed, but we were advised the hotel was fully booked. We ultimately changed our minds about getting a new room. It appears that the noise in that area diminishes sometime during Sunday night. The food at the buffet was delicious, and abundant. However, Italian theme night (food) does need some work. We did not try the other restuarants (5) because we liked the buffet style meals. The waiters and waitresses at the buffet restuarant were always welcoming and friendly. Some of the check-in clerks were a bit stand-off-ish, but not rude. Others were quite pleasant. We noticed that beach towels were sometimes not available for beach chairs. We had only one disappointment....entertainment was a tad limited. The hotel needs to develop "couples" type games, and have them available through-out the day. Other than the band at the Pices restaurant, the Pianist (can put you to sleep) and the band on the terrace, entertainment was somewhat limited. Show Intro Only "we are returning..." We had orginally chose a different resort and came across Gran Bahia Principe and I am glad we did. We had a wonderful time, the staff, rooms, and, service was excellent. We are returning next spring with friends... Tina , Moreno Valley California

Accommodations Junior Suites All accommodations feature one king or two twin beds, a/c, satellite television, full bath with separate shower and whirlpool, hair dryer, telephone, mini-bar and terrace or balcony. Restaurants A la carte dining is limited at the Bahia Principe Jamaica to three dinners per week of stay on the all inclusive plan. Unlimited buffet dining is provided in the all inclusive plan.
