This was our second trip to Couples Negril and found it just as wonderful as the first time. We feel this resort is suited to our needs. Did the trading places to Couples Swept Away and really liked Negril so much better..

JUST DO IT ! Three months before booking this place, we've read just about every comment. review, and trip report we could find. Yes, we've found some disenchanted folks here and there, but after some serious research, discovered that these were the same people that didn't pay attention to what the two rainy months out of the year are, hence the bad attitude about everything else. GIVE US A BREAK !!! From the time of the champagne "check-in" and a very warm greeting from the resort staff, to the time we've entered our room, stepped out unto the tiled balcony and caught a glimpse of the sun setting perfectly between the palm trees that sat in the midst of pure white sand that met the clear blue water of the glistenting ocean, to "check-out" time, it was like being transported to a slice of heaven, only to yearn for the next possible opportunity to return; ..perhaps this time, to stay forever ! The staff, food, entertainment,sporting activities, the newly found friends and the ambiance made us wonder how Couples Negril could do all of this at such bargain prices. We are not affiliated with these guys nor have any interest in any resort. We own a consulting firm; that advises companies on becoming better at what they do, but can't rave enough about Couples Negril.

If you ever want to get married in a fairytale surrounding, go to Couples Sweptaway. The wedding coordinator is AWESOME. Her name is Tamika Jones and she is sooooo into the coordination of the wedding. She even placed flowers in my hair and assisted me in dressing for that fabulous day. The people at the resort were so kind and helpful and everything was "No problem, Mon". The food was fabulous and the drinks were awesome. We liked the dirty banana while sunning on the white sandy beaches. The entertainment was great, the excursions were so well coodinated. We have no complaints whatsoever and plan to return in a year for our first wedding anniversary. Loved it!

In 2006 we went to Couples in Ocho Rios. We had a great time! Decided we would try the other end of the island this year. What a good choice! Stayed with Couples because of the great accommodations, food, and service. We were not disappointed! "All is good." In fact, we are planning another trip ASAP back to Swept Away for Negril in 2008! Can't wait! Sold on Jamaica!

Wonderful! We transferred to Couples Negril, after starting out at Couples Ocho Rios (a disappointment, but that's another story) Couples Negril was awesome! From the activities, to the staff, to the food...everything was great! We wasted the first 2 days of our vacation, but the last 5 made up for it. We were really glad that we were able to make the transfer. We would recommend Couples Negril to anyone!!

We celebrated our 25th silver wedding anniversary on July 10th and could have not picked a better or more beautiful place to go. We started to go to Hawaii for this very special occasion, but we are so glad we found couples. Thanks for the most memorable and awesome time

I normally would never write a review, but I committed that I would upon my recent return from Jamaica. Our friends have been coming to Couples resorts for a few years now and finally convinced us to come along. They chose Couples in Negril as they had never been there before. We were absolutely amazed at the quality of service provided by all the friendly staff. My wife and I have traveled quite a bit outside the US, and ths resort is one our top two ever visited. The food is great, water gin clear, beach was clean, and pools and hot tubs great to relax in after a hard day on the beach. Did some snorkeling, and few rounds of golf nearby. If you golf you will find the nearby course quite demanding. Caddies are required. Ask for "Stormin' Norman" when you get there and they will hook you up with one great guy to accompany you around. I learned quite a bit from him each day. SCUBA divers came back each day with great stories about all the sights they had come across. Beach vendors were respectful of your privacy, and the property guard service was discrete but were ever vigilant. I felt very safe being on this property at all times which was a concern of mine after reading stories about the island. The four young entertainment coordinators constantly kept things going day and night. The catamaran trip was fun at sunset and rooms were decent, but who wants to be in the room when you have so many activities to chose from! Many repeat customer coming back to this resort each year..one couple had been there 12 times already. We were originally scheduled to come back home after seven days, but decided to stay two more. Highly recommend this resort and we will come back to Couples Negril soon.

We could not have asked for anything better then this resort. EVERYONE was great and friendly. The food and activities were to die for. This out weighs all the vacations we have ever been on and we are planning on coming back next year. We went snorkeling, sailing, para sailing, on the cruise, played the pool volleyball. Everyone was so easy to get along with you would be crazy not to get involved. Plus joining in on the activities gave you a chance to win "resort money" to spend during their auction nights. You can't bet that. My husband enjoyed having the red flag that you sit up while on the beach and they come and ask what you want to drink and bring it to you. From the moment that we reached the resort we where waited on hand and foot. Thanks a lot to everyone there who made our vacation a fairy tale.... You would be crazy to go anywhere but couples negril............

My husband and I stayed at Couples Swept Away for our honeymoon in June 2007. We loved the atmosphere, the beach and our hotel room. We stayed in th enew section and really liked the TV and bar. It was a beautiful view too! My husband LOVED the scuba diving and I loved the hobie cats. The only thing I would change is the food. I like almost all of it but it was served outside in the steamy hot weather. (Plus the flies) I am an avid hiker and outdoors person so you must be the same if you want to have a good time at this place. Most of the restaurants are outdoors so be prepared! :) Overall, it was a wonderful and memorable vacation that I will always cherish!

Couples Negril is one of the only all inclusive resorts offering scuba diving and water skiing on top of the standard all inclusive package of non motorized water sports. Scuba diving is included for certified divers. You must show your PADI card. Consider upgrading your certification while you are visiting by taking an Advanced Course for an additional charge. Certified divers can dive once per day. Those who are not certified can take part in a free lesson and one free dive. Additional non-certified dives are available for a fee, subject to availability. Guests are asked to sign-up one day in advance. This is not a PADI certification course.
