"wonderful vacation..."

We just returned from Dreams Palm Beach Punta Cana, what a wonderful vacation right from the registration desk where Hilario Peralta (Chief Concierge) welcomed us to “our new home”. Home was never like this!!! The rooms are amazing, clean with loads of the extras, towels, lotions robes and slippers, beds were turned down each night, with chocolates on the pillow. Buffet had more selection than any other resort we have visited in 20 years of travel, lobster, shrimp and steak cooked to order every night, It is obvious there has been a lot of money spent to update the resort. There is only the new theatre to complete and it looks like it will be ready very soon. Any questions or requests we had been promptly attended to by Hilario Peralta, nothing was too much trouble, it was obvious he knew how to make vacations a memorable experience. we have never had someone so willing to go that extra mile” thank you so much” The Super Bowl tailgate party with huge screen set up oceanfront was very impressive. We would most definitely return. Our only complaint was the lack of a store with basic supplies, there were only the usual overpriced boutiques, clothes purses and tourist stuff, been there done that bought the T-shirt.

What an amazing place this is. My husband and I went for our 30th anniversary and my birthday. We were given a beach front, first floor room. When we got to our room, there was a fruit plate and an anniversay letter to us. The restaurants were very good and the service was great. We attended two cocktail parties, one on St. Patricks Day. Everything was green, sepecially Gasolino. He was green glitter from head to toe. This has been our 6th trip to Punta Cana and we are deffinatly going back to DPB, and can't wait. I have sent quit a few of the people that I work with there and no one has been unhappy.

My wife and I staid at Dreams Palm Beach for 7 nights and loved it. This is our second all inclusive trip and it's the way to go. The resort was very nice and well kept. Only complaint would be the rooms. The humidity is very high in the Domincian Republic so there was always a moisture smell in the rooms. The food was great at all the restaurants, esp El Patio, Himitsu, and the SeaSide Grill. We took an excursion to Saona Island and it was beautiful there. The color of the water was amazing. The bars were great serving great drinks. Only complaint here is you only have to be 18 to drink and there were plenty of 17 to 20 year olds getting wasted and acting foolish. We are 26 and love to drink and have a good time, but I forgot how immature teens are, esp when they drink. I would deff recomend this resort. I would go back, but prob won't because we are trying somewhere different each time. We staid at Sandals dunns river in Ochos Rios and it is hard to compare the two. Sandals was probably a little nicer, but Dreams Palm beach had more to do.
