It was central to many palces we went. It's a 5 minute ride to Playa del Carmen. We walked to the pier and rode a ferry to Cozumel.There is golfing, snorkeling, Mayan site, entertainment in town. It's a very secure gated community, and all of the staff are fluent in English. Their requiring reservations and a casual dress code were very good. We are going back this month for 8 days and 7 nights.

This is a great resort, rooms were well maintained, mini-fridge was refilled daily (doesn't hurt to leave a few singles for cleaning services daily). Dinners at the "Reservation Only" restaurants were wonderful, buffet offered many choices - you won't go hungry at this resort. The events staff was very friendly and entertaining. All waitstaff were very nice and helpful. Overall impression is that staff spoke very good English, so we always felt we were understood. Beautiful beach, pool and gardens. Gym is small, but nicely maintained. Spa services were great. We would definitely visit this resort again.
