We had a few problems with the air conditioner and mini fridge in the room, but other than that it was very romantic. The one plus would have been a little more night entertainment. This was our third time to this area in the last three years and this was the best resort we have been to. The beach area is awesome! There are a lot of beach beds and chairs to lounge on, a large beach area to walk, and a lot of ocean to swim in. Unlike most other resorts in this area, they do not rope off the beach area or ocean. You have free range of walking and swimming as far out as you want. The a la carte food was way better than any buffet we have experienced at other resorts. It may take a little longer to get your food, but it is well worth it. Since this resort is smaller than most, you don't have to do a lot of walking to get where you want to go around the property. We stayed in a basic Junior Jaccuzi Suite and it was very nice. Everyone who works there is very friendly and takes good care of you. They do not have a shuttle service to Playa, so you have to take a taxi or talk to one of the tour reps to line up a ride. This resort is primarily for couples looking for romance and relaxation or honeymooners. It was great! Show Intro Only
