The rooms were comfortable...the only problem I had was having to take a cold cold shower after returning from a day at the pool. This only happened once.....thank god...The staff were all extremley nice . They only had 1 bar in the main lobby ....of course it was always quite crowded.....and closed at only 11pm.....all in all except for a few minor quirks....our group all enjoyed this resort and would probably return there to vacation again. We have been to Cuba many times and Punta Cana and Puerot Plata. We have been to the Barcelo Maya Beach 9 times and they treat us like royalty. We love the staff. They are like family to us. The beach is absolutely awesome. The food and drinks are great. What more do you want when you are on vacation. We are going back for the 10th time next April. We have referred many people to this resort and they can't wait to go back. Either can we. You won't be disappointed. Our daughters intend to get married there.
