(traveled during Spring Break) Just returned from a 5 day stay at the Sandos Gala. T his was our second time at the resort (the first time it was The Gala). Last year we stayed at another resort further south--boy were we disappointed in it--there was no beach. The Sandos Gala has an absolutely beautiful beach. My husband, son and I were very satisfied with accommocations and courtesy extended to us during our stay. We had a few minor problems upon arrival in our room (burned out light bulbs, mini bar not working, etc. ) but after contacting the front desk, these were taken care of--It did seem that the "younger' spring break crowd was being catered to--promoting of drinking, etc. The food was good--enough variety you don't get burned out of the choices. Nightly entertainment lacks a lot. All in all a wonderful resort and we definitely plan to return.

A spacious junior suite with two double beds or one king size bed. Living room area featuring one double sofa bed. Balcony overlooking a native forest. One private deluxe spacious bathroom with shower including a bench for added comfort, air conditioning, hair dryer, one satellite color TV, telephone, mini bar with mineral water, safety deposit box, soft drinks and beer. It is possible to have connecting rooms for family units, on request.

Sandos Royal Club

Ocean view accommodations at the designated Royal Club Section, 1 king bed, bathrobes for all adults (for use during stay), bathroom amenities, special minibar, complimentary fruit basket upon arrival. Royal Club privileges include concierge service, VIP guest ID, guaranteed reservations at specialty restaurants, reserved area at the beach, check out up to 3pm (subject to availability), private check in/check out, Sandos Royal Club Lounge with drinks and canapes from 7am-11pm.

One Bedroom Oceanfront Junior Suite

One king size bed, bathroom with shower and hand shower and hair dryer, air conditioning, safety box, satellite color TV, telephone, coffee maker, radio alarm clock, ceiling fan, iron and ironing board, balcony with full Ocean view.
