In April 2009 the Aventura Spa Palace was divided into two resorts. Aventura Spa Palace is adults-only, while the Aventura Cove Palace now accepts family all inclusive vacations. Adults staying on the Spa Palace side have access to the restaurants, bars and facilities at the Aventura Cove Palace.

Top shelf resort! Best vacation we ever had. The Spa Palace is lovely. Accomodations are extremely comfortable and clean. The grounds are well kept and manicured.

Adults only meant that we could enjoy a truly relaxed, quiet vacation.

The staff was extremely accomodating and patient as we stumbled our way using "text book" Spanish.

Can highly recommend this resort to other travelers.

Excellent full service adults only resort. Large rooms include a 2 person jacuzzi and fabulous turn down service every night. Check in was fast & courteous and with in a half hour after check in, a bottle of wine and a cheese plate arrived. The hydro therapy spa is complimentary and heavenly. When you arrive at the spa desk they will escort you to your locker and provide you will a cozy robe and slippers. All the staff are friendly and very good at what they do. They will remember your name and what you drink. They really "want" to make you happy. The restaurants will accomodate all special requests with enthusiasm. No advance reservation required in any of the resteraunts. The 24 hour room service was wonderful and unbelievabley fast. The pools go on forever but the beach leaves a litle to be desired. Not really a beach but a man made lagoon. A 5 minute taxi takes you to a nice beach at Xpu-Ha Palace(an eco park with wildlife) and you can eat and drink free as part of your package. Entertainment is mediocre but after a day of activities and spa who cares. Highly recommended.

We were pleasantly surprised with the whole resort. The attention to detail was amazing. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The landscaping was magnificent as well as the public restrooms. Our accomodations were just as lovely. I was impressed with the food for an all-inclusive. We have been disappointed in the past with other resorts as far as food goes. I found everything to be well organized and run efficiently. I would definately consider going back.

We just visited Aventura Spa Palace and were very impressed. The grounds are beautifully kept. Their attention to detail is amazing. The only thing that lacked was the food and we hated our bed. Out of all of the restaurants there La Trattoria was the best and of course we ate there on our last night there! The remaining restaurants need improvement. The bread tastes like sawdust! If you are going there, don't bother packing a toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, mouthwash, shampoo, conditioner, sewing kit, etc. I couldn't believe all of the extras they provided. Service impeccable and always with a smile! We would return.

This resort was absolutely amazing! I travel a lot so I was skeptical when booking this because the pictures usually make the resort look much better than it really does. Not this one! In all honesty, the pictures don't give this place justice! It is so incredible clean and beautiful. The staff is courteous, helpful, and ALWAYS waiting to serve you. The lagoon was so much fun to snorkel in (and it's free!). We even saw a sting ray one day... The only downfall that we found within our stay was the ocean front rooms with the great view are for "members only" holders. So our room was on the North side on the very edge. It was a long walk wherever we went. But that's such a minute complaint! Everything else was above and beyond any expectations I could've had!

I love this resort and we are planning our one year anniversary trip back. The room service is excellent, the staff is very helpful and always pleasant. The drinks are out of this world. We highly recommend Ventana's, Mo Mo No Hana's, and Mundaca for dinner. The poolside bar was wonderful. The free excursions are wonderful but if you are looking for a romantic evening out take the Lobster dinner/sunset cruise. It is worth every penny and it is awesome.Can't wait to return.

My husband and I went to Aventura Spa Palace for our honeymoon, and we had a great time! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. For the most part the food was good. We used the room service a lot and went to the Itailan restraunt several times. Had a facial and pedicure at the spa, and it was money well-spent! The pools were big and well maintained. Definately take advantage of the free excursions, especially the one to Tulum. Only downfall was that there was not much beach, but I knew that when we booked the trip. Snorkeling with the fish in the lagoon was enjoyable. Will definately return!

We went to Aventura for our honeymoon and had the best experience. All reviews about how clean and well-maintained the property are accurate. The pools were awesome! And, we actually really enjoyed all of the restaurants -- Momonohana had sushi/chinese, La Trattoria was great Italian, there was a steakhouse and of course, the mexican food was great. The spa was OUTSTANDING!!! A little pricey, as it is not part of the all-inclusive package, but well worth it. Excursions are not close to the resort, so keep that in mind when booking -- each excursion took up almost an entire day. Our only dissapointment was the beach. All in all, I would highly reccomend this resort -- we would go back most definitely.

A few hiccups. On paper, our accomodations said Cove Palace, when we arrived at Cove Palace, we were in the system for Spa Palace. Arrived at our room..which we were given a room number that did not exist. After several minutes, shown to our NEW room. 1 hour later, door opens, with the bellman and the gentleman that was reserved in our room...another 20 min. he was given another room. Unexceptable for a top rated resort. Room service was not completed 2 of the 4 days we stayed. Other than these issues, very nice resort.
