Oh my gosh! What a gem... the only problem was, we didn't stay long enough,. Just when we were relaxing, and feeling the Carriebean time, we had to come home. This spot of the Mexican Riviera Beach, was the best for miles. My 6 year old daughter, my 12 year old son, and his friend, had a fantastic time. They swam in the Carribean, kayaked, boogie boarded, played soccer with a group. etc. The sands were white, the water was green and blue. The pool area at Gran Porto Real looks exactly like the photo. The hotel hires the most unbelievable people. You truly feel like you are in a 4 or 5 star hotel. The mini bar is replenished daily with water, beer and sodas. The vaca is all-inclusive. The Italian Rest. is fantastico, both in food preperation, creativity, and service. The Mexican Rest. was lovely. The fans kept it pretty cool. The music and ambience was fun and delicious. With honeymooners all around, I still felt comfortable and welcomed. The kids could go and do on their own, the consierge would always let me know where they were when I asked. I loved tea time in the lounge. I actually had a spotof tea and delicous cakes and pastries. Many vacationers sat at the bar and watched sports in one section of the lounge and sipped on pretty and colorful drinks. Some of the guys had their cervasas, of course. I took books to the beach chairs outside, under individual umbrellas, where Mani brought me margarittas and the kids water and sodas. All inclusive, but felt like it wasn't. I kept handing him dos pesos (yes, I picked up a little Espanol!) feeling like I was in a more expensiive resort. Anwyay. I woud recommend this to people who can afford one big splurge for the year, or for people who spend thousands on vaca's but this time would like to save a bit, with the cost of everything, and still feel pampered, and cared for! Oh! the Spa was great, too. I am going back in August to the Gran Porto Real!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow! Every employee treated you with the up most respect, they werent ever worried about making a dollar off you or anything. If you got a little to intoxicated there security would take you to your room, and even in my ..

Wow! Every employee treated you with the up most respect, they werent ever worried about making a dollar off you or anything. If you got a little to intoxicated there security would take you to your room, and even in my case, walked down to the blue parrot, and walked all the way down the beach with me to make sure i reached my room safely. For the price you definately get what you pay for. Couldn't ask for anything better and if there is a better resort than Gran Porto Real, that treeats the average joe with this much respect i would love to see it.
