The Riu does have a few problems. No hot water in the rooms for the one day and the next we did get hot water, though it was later in the morning. The pool was not heated, so the water in the pool is actually colder than the ocean. But the bar at pool side is fantastic and the drinks are average. The food is terrific!!! If you want to look around downtown Puerto Vallarta the taxi ride is approximately 25 min. and the fair will run you about 180 pecos or $20.00 each way. I look forward to returning to Puerto Vallart and RIU when my budget allows. Show Intro Only
