The all new RIU Guanacaste Costa Rica is scheduled for a late 2009 opening along the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. CONS-Did not like when the lawn was mowed during the day when trying to relax by the pool or on the beach - the machines were VERY loud. Did not like that there was not 24 hour room service available.

My stay at the Riu Guanacaste couldn't have been any better. The entertainment was fantastic, the entertainment "crew" couldn't have done a better job in keeping my daughter and her new friend anymore entertained than they did. They did everything they could to make their stay at the RIU Guanacaste a memorable one.......and they did make it very memorable. The nightly shows were fabulous, food was very good, The staff was very very helpful and coldn't do enough to please us. I'm hoping to get back there in Feb-March. Thank you so much to the RIU staff for making our vacation a wonderful, memorable, best holiday ever...hope to see u soon
