The adult pool was horrible, the pool bar smelled so badly that you couldn't even stand to get near it to order a beverage. Apparently there was a 'filter/pump' issue, by the end of our trip, no one would even get in the pool, very disappointing. There were a ton of kids screaming throughout the hallways at all hours, night and day. We did not think that too many of the local vacationers were very respectful of other vacationers, very pushy and rude. Food was decent but you had to fight to get your way through the buffet lines for breakfast/lunch and when you did get your food, there were no tables or chairs, saw people eating while they were standing, not acceptable. Overall, if you are looking for a decent resort but don't have too high of expectations, then this is the resort for you. Show Intro Only

The staff was exceptally helpful, curtious and willing to meet our needs. The food was outstanding and very diversified..Anyone on a special diet, being vegetarian,m gluten free, diabetic, etc. would have no trouble finding something o their liking. This trip was made due to our 45th wedding anniversary and we renewed our vows on the beach. It was a most memorable experience and met every expectation we imagined. The rooms were old world charm -- clean and neat. We wouldnit hesitate to return to tghis particular hotel in the future. The only down comment is not with the hotel but some of the guests who showed lack of respect for others, did not dispose of their refuse in a proper manner. You gave us a piece of paradise for an incredible aniiversary trip. Thank you. the staff of RIU Jalisco.
