T his was our second time at the resort (the first time it was The Gala). Last year we stayed at another resort further south--boy were we disappointed in it--there was no beach. The Sandos Gala has an absolutely beautiful beach. My husband, son and I were very satisfied with accommocations and courtesy extended to us during our stay. We had a few minor problems upon arrival in our room (burned out light bulbs, mini bar not working, etc. ) but after contacting the front desk, these were taken care of--It did seem that the "younger' spring break crowd was being catered to--promoting of drinking, etc. The food was good--enough variety you don't get burned out of the choices. Nightly entertainment lacks a lot. All in all a wonderful resort and we definitely plan to return.
