This was the perfect fit! We have both traveled extensively in both US and internationally and found this resort to be exactly what we were expecting. If you want staff striving to make your experience simple and the best you can possibly have, quaint surroundings, yet every activity you could possible consider for no additional fee than this is the place. We wanted to get away from Americans and experience other cultures and languages and found exactly this. The resort was probably around 20% US citizens and the rest European or south American. The staff spoke decent english and went out of their way to understand us, LOL!. The rooms were typically Caribbean 4 or 5 star and the location of the rooms were perfectly laid out so you could get away yet be in the middle of the action if you so desired. The food was diverse and bountiful. If you are expecting to be at the Weston in Chicago, do not go here. If you are somewhat traveled, know you are entering someone elses country and respect and enjoy the differences, then this is perfect. Impeccably clean, very safe and well staffed, Beautiful weather, wonderful beaches and well organized to pamper, then go! Best week we have had in some time. The people here are fantastic.
