The 'poolside' is not really what I consider poolside, and while you stand in line for 20 minutes for 2 drinks be careful. The bar in the casino has the best late nite pizzas!! And the Manor House has a great breakfast buffet, but stick to the Mangrove for lunch and dinner. If your looking for lots of sandy beaches, St Thomas is not the place to go...try FLORIDA! the Journey Day Spa is AWESOME, and would be the only reason I would return! We took advantage of all the watersports and had a rent a car to tour the island. Taxi fares would have been higher than the rent a car for our group of four. The ferry to St John was a great choice. Magens bay is out of this world and a must see, long sandy beach with great facilities The resort lacks the every night live entertainment I found elsewhere. One night with a reggae band and everyone went night night by ten didn't cut it. We went all inclusive and took advantage of their fully stocked bar. Most people didn't seem to be on island time but had their stop watches running every time they spoke. slow service, lines at the restaurant, wah wah wah. St Thomas has some great shopping and we felt comfortable driving amongst the islanders.
